After a decade working through the hierarchical ranks of the region’s top creative agencies, I’m not ashamed to say it, in 2008 I burnt out. Fast-forward to 2014 – six years after my ‘burn out’ – having left the creative industry and lecturing for one of the UK’s top FE colleges, I found my passion for people, culture and organisational development in my first foray into ‘management’ at a Sunday Times Top 100 Company. Although I didn’t know it then, it was the catalyst for following in my father’s footsteps in 2018 when I set-up my own business, Authentic.
Having been ‘that employee’, ‘that manager’, ‘that strategic lead’ I understand the pain points and challenges organisations face when it comes to people and creating an authentic culture. You have to be bold, positive, passionate, true to your values and have the right support. That’s why I created Authentic. To apply robust, proven standards and share advice from personal experience to help people thrive and organisations to flourish.
